Born and raised in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, TUCA MONTEIRO has inherited the "Carioca" creative spirit. In 2003 he moved to Ft. Lauderdale, USA where he continued to do what he enjoys the most: testing the limits of what materials can do, and is fascinated by how particular items can be created in unique ways.
 

He believes that the aim of every project is to craft well-designed works of art that are beautiful and, foremost important, functional.
